Where else could you do a Fire Eating & Fire Breathing workshop, drive a single seater racing car, or a rally car or a tank, or a bus, or a fire engine or even a combine harvester! Ever wanted to fly a plane or a helicopter or do aerobatics in a military jet? How about white water rafting (either in Britain or down the Grand Canyon), scuba diving, water skiing? Or abseiling, caving, climbing, walking or biking?

Don’t worry if the adrenaline events are not your cup of tea, we have workshops on just about everything, from Flirting to positive thinking, Self Hypnosis to Homeopathy and even repairing your PC. How about a regular sports schedule, or just a great social timetable for meals out, cinema and theatre visits, parties and get-togethers. We have something for everyone! And not forgetting weekend breaks and holidays to exotic locations like New Zealand, Australia, Nepal, Borneo, South Africa, Vietnam, India, Kenya, China, Cuba, Egypt and a full skiing program to France, Italy, Andorra, Canada and the USA.

Spice was established over 20 years ago in Manchester and now has franchises in nine major cities with 15,000 members nationwide. Each franchise is run by full time Co-ordinators with many years experience in organising group adventure, social and leisure activities and the monthly programme of events is set up with the absolute beginner in mind.

As most members attend events on their own, Spice puts great emphasis on ensuring that people feel welcome and at ease when they arrive at events.

So who joins Spice? People of all ages (over 18) from all backgrounds, from surgeons to solicitors, single mums to students, extraverts and introverts, singles and couples alike. What they all have in common is a desire to live life to the full, try new activities, meet new people and enjoy themselves whatever the circumstances.

During the year the members are invited to hundreds of SPICE Events in their area, to try something new, to make new friends, to achieve ambitions, make dreams come true and generally make life that little bit more amazing. All are fun, exciting, different and some are challenging. Most important - each activity has its own special instructor, highly qualified to teach even the basic techniques, so the members are sure to be in capable hands.

Every month a Spice newsletter drops through the letter box to invite the members to the coming months events and keep them up to date. The costs of the events vary, but all are cheaper (or better value) than the public price due to group discounts and economy savings and exclusive Spice deals. Every quarter you will also receive the Spice UK Holiday Supplement with details of the fantastic holidays with a difference to exotic locations like New Zealand, Australia, Nepal, Borneo, South Africa, Vietnam, India, Kenya, China, Cuba, Egypt and a full skiing program to France, Italy, Andorra, Canada and the USA.

Members select the events they wish to attend (either from their monthly Newsletter or the Web) and then book with their local office. There is no obligation to do a minimum number of events so it's entirely up to you how many events you attend. You will soon discover that its fun to try anything once with Spice, as our emphasis is always on having fun as part of a group, whatever we are doing.

SPICE is the adventure/social group for people who want to get more out of life, have more fun and friendship, more adventure and excitement - with members from all walks of life as varied as are people, all united in one common purpose of enjoying life to the full!
